SNS clocks report key diagnostic information to the AMP, such as battery level and Access Point signal level. The AMP allows you to proactively address clock issues by sending alerts to designated staff before a patient or staff member ever notices a problem. Furthermore, clocks can be grouped by floor, department or building, with the ability to assign responsibility so that only the appropriate people are notified. Because Primex’s SNS Clocks are IP based, you can change configurations via the AMP as your needs evolve around the facility. In addition, the AMP can be used to download any firmware updates to SNS clocks and adjust variables such as time zone off set and synchronization schedules.

The AMP stores all diagnostic and synchronization data, allowing for easy access to system records. When SNS Code Blue or Elapsed Timers are part of the deployment, the AMP stores important event information that can be used to improve patient
care, lower liability risks, and create efficiencies in billing of surgical procedure
